In the King’s Kitchen is a book written and illustrated by Linda Reinert, mosaic artist and owner of Mosaics at the Farm. The story reflects the truth of Scripture as it relates to mosaic art. It’s a parable of mosaics highlighting how we all are uniquely created by God for a good purpose, with beauty and value. We are chosen, we are wonderfully made, we have a purpose instilled by our Creator before we came to be. We are broken by the world, yes. But we are beautiful still. If only we would believe it.
The illustrations were created with broken dishes and discarded stained glass. Shelby Dressel of Shelby Jade Photography took photos of the art for the book.
This book is dedicated to my two daughters and my granddaughter– may they know the truth and believe what God believes about them. Chosen. Beautiful. With purpose. And oh so loved.
